Close your eyes and imagine your Grandmother's back porch, a hand cranked ice cream churn making thick, rich, creamy vanilla ice cream on a hot summer day. That's our frozen custard - the same dense, rich vanilla taste that you can't often find in our part of the world.
Our mission is to bring you frozen custard, "The World's Finest Ice Cream". And, not just the world's finest ice cream, but the best frozen custard you can find anywhere. We use only the finest ingredients, the freshest cones, no colorings, real fruits, New Mexico grown nuts, chocolate created especially for ice cream and vanilla from a company that has been sourcing beans from all over the world for generations. If it isn't the best, we're not going to serve it.
Our motto is "Have Custard, Will Travel" because our shop is a fully self contained commercial kitchen in a trailer that we can take to events and to our favorite corner at 4th Street and Osuna NW. Keep an eye out here and our Facebook page so you'll know where to find us.
Our favorite "custard quote" came from a cute little guy who came back after he finished his cone to tell us, "that was just perfect". That's what we want all our customers and friends to think.

We had been talking for years about making ice cream like we used to have on our friends' farm when we were growing up. Then we tasted frozen custard in St. Louis and we were hooked. Some people just have custard in their veins and I guess that's us!
Folks in many parts of the Midwest and on the East Coast are lucky enough to have had frozen custard since the early 1900's, but it's harder to find here. Our daughter is a Kansas Jayhawk and we had taste tests from all three of the frozen custard shops in Lawrence every time we visited. We decided that we definitely needed frozen custard in Albuquerque and that we were just the folks to bring it here. Going the mobile route appealed to us and we love introducing our frozen custard to people who haven't tasted it before.
We do events throughout the summer and park at the Southeast corner of 4th Street and Osuna NW on most weekends. Come taste our frozen custard and you'll be hooked also.
Our frozen custard is what we're famous for. It is a gourmet ice cream treat frozen and served fresh every day. Dense and creamy because of the special machine we make it in, which adds only a small fraction of the air introduced into traditional ice cream, it is an old fashioned taste that will get you hooked. We use only the finest ingredients and serve it on the freshest cones you'll find anywhere. We always have our special Vanilla and rotate other flavors depending on the mood of the master custard maker - listen for his famous quote as he tastes the first bite out of the machine.

Plus Sundaes, our famous Root Beer Floats and any other flavor that strikes our fancy. Make requests and we'll see what we can do!
When the weather is warm enough we have Lemon Italian Ice made from real lemon juice.
